Lisa Baron

Lisa Baron has never been on the short list for a cabinet secretary position. But she has been a press and communications advisor for several nationally recognized and prominent elected officials, including Governor Christine Todd Whitman (R-NJ) and Senator Saxby Chambliss (R-GA).

Baron was a member of Edelman Public Relations World-Wide crisis management team in the firm’s Atlanta office. While working with Edelman, Baron was a guest lecturer for Alston & Bird: Big Ticket Litigation – How to Manage It and How to Win It.  Her lecture was offered as a CLE accredited requirement for Georgia attorneys.

Lisa is best known (and most proud of) her work with her former boss and long-time friend Ralph Reed.  Baron joined Reed’s public relations and consulting firm, Century Strategies, in 1999. In January 2005, she left Century Strategies to become Reed’s communications director in his first-ever bid for elected office.
