Scott For Georgia adds four new campaign team members in September
Atlanta, GA — Scott For Georgia is proud to announce the addition of four new members to its campaign team.
Lee C. Benedict Jr., M.Ed., a former United States Army officer and schoolteacher in Richmond County with extensive experience in politics has joined the campaign as regional director for the thirteen-county Central Savannah River Area.
J. Earle Shivers, a longtime member of the Georgia political community whose career includes service to five Governor's administrations over a thirty year period, has recently resigned from Governor Perdue's administration to join Scott For Georgia as Director of Campaign Services.
P. Ashby Foltz III, an honors student in the Management program at Georgia Tech and VP of Tech’s Interfraternity Council, has joined the campaign as an Intern and will be responsible for raising awareness for Austin Scott at Georgia Tech and with the 18-24 year-old age group in Atlanta.
J. Barton Reising, a graduate of the University of Mississippi who has worked for Senator Lott (R-MS), numerous campaigns, Governor Perdue’s administration, and the Republican Governor’s Association in Washington, DC, has joined Scott For Georgia as Executive Assistant to Vivien Scott and Campaign Scheduler.
“We believe in continual progress,” said Rep. Scott. “These new additions to our team deliver a wealth of political expertise to our organization. They share my belief that we will win this election through our hard work and dedication.”
