Atlanta Tea Party calls on Congressman to Get Counseling to Address Propensity for Street Violence
ATLANTA – Debbie Dooley and Julianne Thompson, co-coordinators of the Atlanta Tea Party today suggested that North Carolina Congressman Bob Etheridge seek professional counseling to address his propensity for assaulting people on the street who ask innocuous questions that send him into fits of violence.
“The irony here is that it is Democrats like Bob Etheridge that have charged the Tea Party with fostering incivility in American politics,” said Dooley. “Perhaps Congressman Etheridge might benefit from professional counseling to address his propensity for street violence and incivility.”
Congressman Etheridge became an overnight political sensation, and idol to street thugs everywhere, for his unwarranted attack on two college students who asked him if he supported the Obama agenda. The Congressman’s response was to viciously assault the students while demanding to know who they were. The entire event was captured on two video cameras that clearly document the congressman’s assault and arrogance.
This was not the congressman’s first act of congressional violence. The congressman previously committed violence on the American people when he voted for ObamaCare, which will destroy our nation’s system of healthcare and bankrupt the United States Treasury.
Julianne Thompson stated, “There is clear evidence of a developing paranoia among Democrat Congressman who see a November demise approaching. But there is no excuse for committing acts of violence against students anymore than being in the majority is justification for violating the Constitution.”
